A coming of age story about Freddie, a 20 year old young man who has spent his life struggling beneath the weight of his darkest thoughts. When he finally finds the courage to embrace his sexuality, he is forced to confront his deepest fear: rejection from the people he loves most. With a powerful lead performance, the film explores identity, vulnerability, and the difficult journey toward accepting yourself when acceptance from others is uncertain.
The film uses a bold and colorful visual world to reflect Freddie’s emotional journey. Rich colors, expressive compositions, and heightened imagery create a vibrant contrast to the darkness he carries internally. As Freddie moves from fear toward self-acceptance, the visual palette becomes increasingly alive, turning his inner transformation into a cinematic celebration of courage, identity, and freedom.
